Skill and Drill Children's Program

Lead by certified teachers, this FREE program is designed for children in grades 1-7.  Through hands-on, play-based activities, children gain confidence  while improving their math and reading skills.

Available at various locations across Lambton County, the Skill and Drill Children's program runs October-December & February-April. The first hour of the evening is designed for children in grades 1-3 and the second hour is designed for children in grades 4-7.

Contact our office in September to register your child.

Volunteer and tutor positions available, please see our volunteer page for more information.

Literacy in the Community

O.L.L. organizes and hosts programs throughout the year. Some events are ongoing while others take place seasonally.

O.L.L. provides a number of its community partners with bins filled with gently used books. Patrons of these locations are welcomed and encouraged to take free books home.

If you are interested in hosting one of these bins,

please contact our office.

Help promote a child's love of reading by donating a new book to our Christmas campaign. All books go to a baby, child or youth in Sarnia-Lambton. Details for our 2019 campaign will be posted in the fall.
